Microsoft Lumia 640 XL goes up for pre-orders in Germany at Amazon, costs €219

Earlier this month, Microsoft took the wraps off some new devices featuring a decent set of specifications on board — the Lumia 640 and 640 XL. Both handsets fix the drawback present in the Lumia 63x line up, and at an extremely affordable price tag. The smaller Lumia 640 is up for pre-orders in several European countries, but there’s a piece of good news for German residents waiting for the Lumia 640 XL.

The handset is up for pre-order in Germany via Amazon, carrying €219 price tag. The product page doesn’t list the exact availability date for the handset, but it shouldn’t take too long — Microsoft said it will hit retail by the end of this month across the globe, but an actual availability date may vary depending on the country.

As far as the specifications are concerned, Lumia 640 XL packs a 5.7-inch HD display, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM 8GB of internal storage, 13MP rear shooter, a 3,000 mAh battery and ships with Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim.
