Microsoft lumia 535 launches in the us for 49

It’s been a while since Microsoft introduced the budget-friendly Lumia 535 for emerging markets, and it seems the company has decided to finally bring the handset to US shores. Customers interested in the Lumia 535 can get the handset from Microsoft Store for just $149 for the unlocked variant. The handset has yet to make an appearance on any major US carriers, but $149 unlocked is just a steal for a handset like the Lumia 535. So, if you’re looking for a secondary handset, Lumia 535 is a great option.

As a quick recap, the Lumia 535 rocks a 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 960 by 540 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage coupled with a microSD card slot. There’s a 5MP front-facing camera, 5MP rear camera, a 1,905 mAh battery and ships with Windows Phone 8.1 as its operating system.
