Microsoft Lumia 535 To Launch in India on November 26th

\

Not too long ago, Microsoft launched the budget-friendly Lumia 535 which comes with a very decent set of specifications, and costs only €110. Microsoft announced the handset will launch in key markets in November, and it appears India is one of the first few markets to get the handset. Recently, Microsoft India sent out press invites for an event on November 26th where the software giant is expected to launch the new Lumia 535.

\

The invite reads, “Five days to magic of triple 5.” We all have a very good idea of what that means. Microsoft touted the handset as “5x5x5 proposition” since it features a big 5-inch display, a 5MP front and rear cameras, and several Microsoft services on board such as OneNote and Skype.

Microsoft Lumia 535 comes in two versions: one of them is a single-SIM variant, while the other one comes with dual-SIM support which is extremely popular in emerging markets like India. Both these versions feature a similar set of specifications, there’s a 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, coupled with a microSD card support of up to 128GB. As far as the operating system is concerned, it runs Windows Phone 8.1 Denim pre-installed out of the box.

\

There’s a 5MP rear camera for photos and videos, as well as a 5MP front-facing camera for selfie fans. The device also features a 1,905 mAh battery to make sure there’s enough juice for the handset.

\

The handset comes in six colors, including cyan, bright green, bright orange, white, dark grey, and black. Stay tuned to WinBeta, we’ll update you as soon as Microsoft launches the handset in India, including the pricing and availability details.
