Microsoft Lumia 535 coming soon to the UK

Not too long ago, Microsoft introduced the budget-friendly Lumia 535 in India at an extremely affordable price. The company mentioned at launch that Lumia 535 will hit retail in selected markets in the coming weeks — similar to the Lumia 525 which made its way to only a few big developing markets. UK customers waiting for the handset would be glad to find out the Lumia 535 is coming soon to the region.

Well, Microsoft is yet to announce an official launch date, and pricing details, but the UK Lumia devices page has been updated with the handset showing “Coming soon” right next to it. As for the pricing, it’s likely to revolve around the 110 Euros price tag announced at launch. We’ll update you as soon as the Lumia 535 is set to hit retail in the UK.

Microsoft touts the hands as their “5x5x5” smartphone. The handset features a 5-inch qHD display sporting a resolution of 540 by 960 pixels, as well as a 5MP front facing and rear cameras on board. The processing power comes from a Snapdragon 200 chipset paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, coupled with a microSD card for expansion. On the software front, you get Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim.
