Microsoft looks at third-party retailers to push hardware in Brazil

Microsoft Store

Microsoft recently expanded its Surface Pro sales channel that sees Dell and HP selling the company’s popular tablet line to the enterprise. Another big sales market for Microsoft is Brazil; a country that loves Windows Phone so much that the Microsoft platform outsells the iPhone. Now Microsoft is increasing its presence in that company with a new deal.
Microsoft has announced recently that they are partnering with a Brazilian company known as Cnova which owns a few online stores including Ponto FrioCasas Bahia and Extra.com. The stores are to showcase nearly all Microsoft products, including Lumia phones, Windows PCs tablets, and Microsoft peripherals in a special dedicated section on their websites.
It’s a pretty interesting move for Microsoft. Maybe it will help with the increase of Microsoft products in the country. What do you think about this move? Let us know in the comments.
