Microsoft lets you see more social media results on your Bing sidebar with new update

Microsoft has updated Bing yet again with some new social media features. Now, when you search for something on Bing, you will see more social media results from your friends across all your social media channels.

“Starting today, five times more of your friends’ content on Facebook is searchable in the sidebar – including status updates, shared links, comments and photos from your friends. With the addition of status updates, shared links and comments to the sidebar, it’s now easier to see who knows and what they’ve shared related to your search. So when your friends aren’t around, Bing is the perfect stand-in,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.

Microsoft has made it easier by adding a category called “social results” to the sidebar. Social results have also been positioned better with an option to see more results. To check out this new feature, head over to Bing and sign into your Facebook profile.
