During a press conference in Los Angeles today, Microsoft has revealed that the Xbox 360 will feature a hardware update. The new Xbox 360 will be smaller, sleeker, and quieter, and is available now!

This new design for the Xbox 360 is based on the new Xbox One design and features a modern look, according to Microsoft. Microsoft also revealed that a new program would take place for Xbox LIVE Gold members, who can snag two free games a month with their subscription. “We’re going to make your Xbox Live Gold membership better too,” Microsoft stated during the press event.

Microsoft even mentioned that there are “hundreds of new titles” coming to the Xbox 360, including games like Splinter Cell BlackList, Final Fantasy XII 3, Batman Arkham Origins, and Grand Theft Auto V.

“Xbox 360 offers unrivaled value – with more great games, an Xbox Live community with 48 million members, and a compelling line-up of apps, sports, movies, TV and music. We’ve taken all we have learned these past eight years and engineered a new Xbox 360 console that is elegant and accessible to anyone. There’s never been a better time to experience everything Xbox 360 has to offer,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.

As for availability, you can purchase the brand new Xbox 360 for $199 for the 4GB model and $299 for the 250GB model. If you want the 4GB Kinect Bundle, that will run you $299. Retailers across the United States, UK, Canada, Australia, and Ireland will have the new Xbox 360 starting today, with more countries coming soon.
