Microsoft Launcher has Bing Chat integrated into users’ home screens. They have also shipped the “Continue on Phone” feature, which was introduced earlier this month. This tool lets you switch from Bing chatting on your PC to your Android phone.
Microsoft Launcher Integration
Microsoft Launcher is an Android launcher designed to enhance the integration between Windows desktop PCs and Android smartphones. A launcher is an Android app that replaces your device’s home screen. It is responsible for displaying all the apps, widgets, and other home screen elements such as folders, shortcuts, and wallpapers. The launcher allows you to personalize your device and make it easy to navigate through your apps and other functions.
- Personalized Feed: The launcher provides a personalized feed that includes calendar events, to-do lists, and notes, helping you stay organized and productive.
- Customization: You can customize various aspects of your Android device’s user interface to tailor it to your preferences.
- Bing Chat Integration: Microsoft Launcher also incorporates Bing Chat onto your Android home screen. You can access and continue your chat conversations without navigating to a separate app.
Continue on Phone
The “Continue on Phone” feature ensures a smooth transition between devices while maintaining your chat conversations.
When you’re chatting on your desktop and want to switch to your Android device without losing the conversation, you can choose the “Continue on phone” option. You’ll find this option usually located in the upper-right corner of the last chat response.
Once you select “Continue on phone,” a QR code will appear. To resume your conversation on your Android device, scan the QR code. This way, you can pick up right where you left off on your desktop.
With the newly added convenience, both Windows and Mac users can take advantage of resuming their desktop chats on their mobile devices. This feature is available on Microsoft Edge and the Bing mobile app.
