Following a couple weeks of testing with beta users, Microsoft Launcher version 5.1 is now generally available on Android phones. With this latest update, Microsoft continues to integrate its different notes and tasks manager solutions: there’s a new card that show tasks created in Microsoft To-Do or Outlook, and there’s also a new Notes card that includes content from Outlook, Sticky Notes and OneNote.
This update also puts the emphasis on digital health, with a new screen time card that can give you some insights about your most used apps.
The Microsoft Launcher has quickly become one of the company’s most important Android apps, and it’s pretty much a must-have for the Microsoft fan using Android smartphones. The app can provide quick access to Microsoft apps and services including Cortana, as well as your Windows 10 Timeline (which is now also accessible from Microsoft Edge on Android). We’re looking forward to seeing how the Android Launcher will continue to evolve in 2019, let us know in the comments what are the other new features you would like to see being added next yer.
