Microsoft honors Giving Heroes who promote and inspire young people

Microsoft is aware that young people are the future is looking to honor the people and organizations who offer support and help to encourage them to achieve their goals. Employees have been asked to share the organizations that have inspired them and they are to be showcased throughout November.

Each day of the month, a new story will be featured on the Microsoft Facebook page highlighting employees working with non-profit organizations to help young people.

But it’s not just about highlighting good things that are already being done to nurture “the next generation of innovators, inventors, mountain movers and game changers.” Microsoft is also promoting its YouthSpark program which encourages people to contribute to the Giving Heroes Fund.

30 organizations chosen by Microsoft employees can benefit from donations made through the site, and visitors are encouraged to leave a Skype video message promoting a Giving Hero they support.

Check out one of the showcase videos below and watch out for more throughout the month.
