Microsoft will be holding launch parties at it’s official Microsoft Stores tonight. The parties are to celebrate the launch of the newly revamped Halo classic, titled Halo: Anniversary.

If you live near a Microsoft Store in the United States, you will be able to participate in one of these parties. Not only will you be able to purchase the game, but you’ll also have the chance to get some extra goodies.

If you are amongst the first 100 people in the line, you will receive a bag of free goodies at the door, which include a limited edition Grunt Plushy which is a stuffed alien type creature from the Halo universe. The stores will be featuring Multiplayer parties and competitions which will give you the chance to be one of the first to play the new Halo Multiplayer.

Microsoft will also provide snacks, drinks and more Halo! The party starts at 10PM tonight, and will continue up until the launch of the game, and maybe a little afterwards.
