Microsoft Garage released DealWatcher for iOS to make it easier to save some money

Developers at Microsoft Garage would like to make it easier for you to track the best deals and coupons for your purchases and save both time and money. DealWatcher, the latest project from Microsoft Garage is intended to do exactly that: the iOS app works as a specialized search engine for deals and it seems pretty versatile, letting users browse detailed sub-categories and create a personalized deal feed based on their interests.

Here is what the app can do according to the official description found on Microsoft Garage’s website:

  • Search and browse for deals, coupons, and discounts easily using brands, product names, category names, or keywords. Further narrow down the search results using sorters and filters.
  • Create personalized deal feed by declaring interests.
  • Don’t miss a deal again by watching specific brands, products, categories, or keywords. DealWatcher will be on the lookout for deals, coupons, and discounts that match your Watchlist and alert you via push notification.

For now, the app is in limited beta testing in the US, but you can sign up to try it on this page. While you’ll need an iOS device to play with it, the developers shared that they are planning to release it on Android and Windows in the future. Let us know in the comments if you’re interested in this new app.
