Get2modern offer

In an official blog post, Microsoft is reminding everyone that Windows XP will no longer be supported one year from now. On top of that, if you are a small or medium sized business, Microsoft is offering an upgrade to Windows 8 Pro at a 15% discount.

“And if you are a small or medium sized business currently running Windows XP Professional PCs, you can upgrade to Windows 8 Pro and Office Standard 2013 at a 15% discount now through June 30 as part of Microsoft’s Get2Modern offer. This offer is only available on up to 100 licenses each of Windows 8 Pro and Office 2013 Standard editions,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.

Windows XP was launched back in 2001 and allowed consumers and businesses to achieve new levels of productivity. But that was twelve years ago. Time to get modern. Microsoft has launched this new Get2Modern offer that will keep your business safe with all the built-in security features of Windows 8.

Support for Windows XP ends April 8th of 2014, and in just one years time, Microsoft will no longer support Windows XP. This pretty much means that consumers and businesses will no longer receive security updates or utilize support from Microsoft after the deadline is reached.
