Microsoft has released this week a new Edge update for Insiders on the Beta channel. The company has now published its Microsoft Edge release schedule which makes it easier to follow Edge updates across the different channels, and the new version 85 that landed in the Beta channel brings improvements for the Collections feature and more.

First off, Microsoft has added the ability to export Collections to OneNote. The feature will allow users to append the content that they have saved in Collections to the note taking app and invite other people to add their contributions. Mac users will also be able to use Microsoft Edge v85 to share web content to Office for Mac apps.

The PDF highlighter tool is another new feature that made its way to the Beta channel, and Edge users can now add it to the PDF toolbar for highlighting relevant text. This build also added the ability to synchronize Edge settings and favorites between Active Directory profiles within your own environment, eliminating the need for cloud synchronization.

This new Edge beta build also brings support for the Storage Access API, some other improvements for DevTools, and IE Mode enhancements. All these new features should come very soon to the Edge stable channel, which usually gets new updates every six weeks.
