Microsoft Edge is Getting Three Useful Tools

Microsoft is adding three useful new utilities to the Edge web browser. As mentioned on the Microsoft 365 roadmap, the utilities include a calculator, internet speed test, and also a convertor for units, all of which will be found in the sidebar (via Neowin.)

Tagged with a feature ID of 96098, Microsoft is aiming to have this feature out to everyone in August of 2022. That’s for the stable version of Edge on desktop, but those who have Edge Canary 105 can already experience this, with the addition of other tools like a dictionary, translator, and even a world clock.

Microsoft is really pushing Edge to the limit now and making it more than just a web browser. Other features like a built-in VPN, as well as a Games Bar are on the way for Edge. Do you think you’d find these features useful? Or are you already using other apps for these tools? Let us know in the comments below.
