Microsoft has released a new Edge Dev build update, coming in at 112.0.1722.7. The update is significantly major as it ships with multiple new features as well as the usual round of improvements. Here’s everything you need to know:

First, the build adds a new feature dubbed Pin tab group which is designed to persist tab group between browser sessions. Next, the update will also allow Edge users to switch profiles automatically when clicking on a Workspace join link.

Additionally, the release also featured an auto name suggestion on Tab Group that’s available in English only at the moment.  What’s more, it also ships with Video Smart Explorer. Android users will also be able to use an ad blocker on videos by long pressing.

The update also features a ton of reliability fixes as well as policy updates, be sure to check them out over at Microsoft’s Tech Community post.

The Edge build update should roll out to users automatically, however, if this is not the case, you can trigger the update manually by visiting Edge’s Settings menu, then click on Help and Feedback, select About Microsoft Edge, and then wait for the browser to download the update.

In related news, Microsoft Edge 111 shipped to the Stable Channel with Edge Copilot which is designed to boost your productivity and efficiency by providing intelligent suggestions and insights based on the context of the web page and the user’s goals.
