Microsoft has denied rumors that it is working on an update that would quadruple the accuracy of its Kinect motion controller. The dashboard update, which started as a rumor earlier this week, was supposed to significantly improve Kinect’s performance; the device currently has a resolution limit of 320×240, but the rumored update would increase this to 640×480.
