A new version of Windows for consumers tends to accompany a new version of Windows Server too. But this time around, it seems that Windows 10 won’t have its server counterpart launch alongside it as Microsoft has opted to delay Windows Server 10 (or Windows Server ‘Next’) to 2016.

Microsoft has also confirmed that it will be releasing a series of Windows Server and System Center previews over the coming months, indicating that the software giants will take the same approach to developing Windows Server 10 as it has done with Windows 10 thus far; feedback, feedback, feedback!

Microsoft will be talking more about what’s coming in the next major version of Windows Server during its Ignite conference that takes place in May this year.
