Microsoft has been holding hardware events for years now, some of them mind-blowing, but some of them a bit on the ho-hum side. This year, however, is shaping up to be, as we’ve said before, a doozy. Microsoft has been pumping the event on social media, and has just released a compilation of Panos Panay moments that should be sure to get your blood flowing:

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: New and innovative things are coming at the #MicrosoftEvent. Tune in Oct. 2 live on Twitter at 10am ET to see why we’re #pumped. pic.twitter.com/MV8HSCd54Q

Some pretty good guesses as to what is to come have leaked out, but this is going to be one to watch. We’ll be there, bringing you everything from the event and some behind the scenes coverage, too, so you might just want to plan to rearrange your schedule next Wednesday at 7am PDT and grab your popcorn, this one should be good.
