Groove Music

Back in November, Microsoft offered new Groove Music users four months free of access for a limited time. If you missed out on that initial promotion and would still like to try out Microsoft’s music streaming service for a longer period before buying, you should be aware that Microsoft is once more continuing the Groove Music 4 months free promotion for new subscribers (via Neowin.)

Just as before, with this promotion, if you sign up now for a $9.99 Groove Music Pass, Microsoft will give you three free months of service in addition to the one free month trial. Of course, you must sign up before March 1st, 2017 and you will then be sent a token within 30 days for an additional 3 months of free music. The token must be redeemed by March 14th 2017, and the 30-day trial continues rolls over a paid monthly subscription unless canceled or after the promotional period.

Groove Music is Microsoft’s streaming service, the answer to other services such as Spotify and Pandora.  Like the other services, Groove Music is even available across all platforms, such as Web, iOS, Android, Windows 10, Windows Phone, Xbox, and even SONOS.  Microsoft notes that Groove offers up  a huge music catalogue, ad-free listening, Background Music for Xbox One, and access to playlists, radio, and your own tracks on OneDrive.
