Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella visits India Development Centre in Hyderabad, to attend two events in Delhi tomorrow

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella’s 2-day trip to India began earlier this morning, when he reached company’s India Development Center (IDC) for a meeting. Nadella has several more meetings to attend in India within next two days before he leaves to head back to the United States.

Nadella is expected to take part in two events in Delhi, organized by Nasscom tomorrow. The events will be focused on startups. The Microsoft CEO will also be encouraging more women to participate in technology.

Nadella reportedly arrived in India yesterday and met Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. The media wasn’t informed about this meeting. Nadella also spoke with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu over phone.

“Every time I visit, I’m energised to see the advancements India is making and truly believe technology is a key enabler for India to thrive and create more opportunities for every individual and business in its economy,” said Nadella in an interview with ET earlier this week. “We are keen to partner with the government and industry at large to help make this vision a reality,” he added.
