Microsoft: Big things are happening to the world of Windows, stay tuned – onmsft.com

Windows 9

Microsoft has been known in the past to tease about upcoming things, and today seems to be no different. In a tweet from the company, Microsoft teased that “Big things are happening to the world of Windows. Stay tuned.” The tweet was accompanied by the hashtag #IFA2014, meaning Microsoft may be about to unveil some pretty big Windows news.

We’re not too sure what Microsoft could be planning to announce at IFA 2014 during their announcement set to take place in just a few hours, other than new Lumia devices. Considering this tweet has no mention of Lumia, we’re pretty certain that the company is teasing about the Windows software, not hardware. Perhaps Microsoft is planning to talk about Windows Threshold earlier than expected?

Do remember, the rumors claim that Microsoft will talk about Windows Threshold at the end of the month. However, Microsoft may have opted to talk about the Windows Phone side of Threshold earlier than expected. This is all speculation right now, bare that in mind.

What do you think? Will Microsoft announce something big or are they just teasing all the new devices running Windows? Let us know your thoughts below.
