Microsoft’s Mixer streaming service today announced they have partnered with Lightstream Studio in order to help gamers make their streams look more professional. Though currently in beta, features coming soon to Mixer streams as part of the partnership include customizable video overlays, alerts, transitions and much more.

According to the announcement post, Lightstream Studio is “super powerful” and “easy to use” via any supported web browser on supported platforms. It is available in beta today or Mixer Partners & Mixer Pros and can be found by heading to Mixer Manage Channel settings. Read more about it below.

Mixer streamers can route their feed into Lightstream Studio to enable endless customizations. Add images and overlays, text, or switch between scenes to keep the stream fresh and polished. And if there are other services streamers love using for alerts (like StreamLabs, StreamJar or Tipeeestream), they can easily link their 3rd party accounts within their Lightstream settings.

You can expect for the feature to expand to more users over time, but for now, you can visit the Lightstream site here, and learn more by checking out these FAQs.
