Driven by the feedback of those in the UserVoice and Connect Communities, Microsoft has just announced the availability of the .NET Framework 4.6.2.

The release brings fixes to many areas including the Base Class Library, Common Language Runtime, Click Once, ASP.NET, SQL, Windows Presentation Foundation and Windows Communication Foundation.  The list of changes is very long, so if you’re interested in the complete and comprehensive details of what has been improved you can check out the full change log by clicking here.

Of course, this availability means you can now download .NET Framework 4.6.2.  If you have an internet connection, you can download by clicking here for the much faster .NET Framework 4.6.2 Web Installer.  You can also click here to access the All-inclusive offline installer which includes all language packs but does not require an internet connection. Lastly, if you’re in development or build environments, you can click here to install the Developer Pack offline installer.
