Windows 10

Microsoft has officially announced that Windows 10 has reached 14 million installs globally since launch, which is 4 million up from what we exclusively revealed earlier. Microsoft is betting big with Windows 10, with a goal of 1 billion devices in just 2-3 years, the company has brought out the big guns with a free upgrade from Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.

The company also claims that not everybody who has reserved Windows 10 has received their upgrade, so more upgrades are on the way and that 14 million number will only get bigger as time goes on. Hopefully with such big launch numbers, developers and OEMs will start taking an interest in the platform.

What are your thoughts on these impressive install numbers? Let us know below!
