Microsoft and WWE team up to support Microsoft Band

Now that the Microsoft Band is back in stock and available to buy at major retail stores, Microsoft is now focusing on marketing the Microsoft Band. In preparation of WrestleMania XXXI, Microsoft employed the services of two WWE powerhouses, Ryback and Dolph Ziggler, to track their progress as they prepare to unleash their fury at Wrestlemania XXXI.

Ryback and Dolph Ziggler are wearing their Microsoft Bands to track all of their fitness statistics via the Microsoft Health Dashboard located here. You can view all the information that the Microsoft Band is capturing with its ten sensors, like peak heart rate achieved, calories burned during exercise, and more. Even better, the Microsoft Health Dashboard allows you to view these stats live as Ryback and Dolph Ziggler prepare for Wrestlemania XXXI.

Being able to track the health stats of Ryback and Dolph Ziggler as they prep themselves for Wrestlemania XXXI obviously boosts Microsoft’s marketing campaign for the Band and showcases how many things the Band monitors. By reaching out to WWE fans, Microsoft is reaching out to millions of people and is likely to see a boost in sales of the Band up to, but more likely after Wrestlemania XXXI.

So tune in this Sunday, March 29th, to see what happens with the Microsoft Band at Wrestlemania XXXI at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA, at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT.
