Central to Microsoft’s revamp of its wider portfolio of services and products over the past few years has been the introduction of strong visual themes, especially to the likes of Bing, with its striking photography.

In a bid to continue the development of this theme, Microsoft has announced a partnership with Getty Images to further integrate its gallery of images across Microsoft products. The two firms will work together across the coming years in order to provide real-time access to Getty images and data for Microsoft, allowing a seamless cooperation between the two and making product development a far easier process.

This deal will be focused in particular on Bing, with Getty Images Senior Vice President of Business Development Craig Peters saying,

“With our new partnership, Microsoft will use Getty Images’ latest API innovations and our award-winning visual content to take search experiences to a new level”

Expect Bing to get a little more beautiful in future.
