Nokia Lumia

Microsoft is set to air a new commercial during March Madness which features a Windows Phone Challenge. The advertisement showcases how great the Nokia Lumia 920’s PureView camera is against the Samsung Galaxy S3.

“A new spot that pits the Nokia Lumia 920’s PureView camera head-to-head against the Samsung Galaxy SIII will run on ESPN and CBS throughout the men’s and women’s NCAA tournament. Not a basketball fan? No worries – you can watch it online,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.

The Nokia Lumia 920 is touted by the software giant as the most innovative Lumia smartphone out there, with a camera that features PureView technology powered by a Carl Zeiss lens. This camera captures blur-free videos even if the user has shaky hands or is taking snapshots in low light situations. The camera features optical image stabilization to make this happen.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 camera features a 8 megapixel rear camera with a 1.9 megapixel front camera. The Samsung Galaxy S3 is a top-of-the-line Android smartphone so this comparison with the Nokia Lumia 920 is going to be a good one. Microsoft plans on airing this new TV spot this week but if you want to see it now, check out the video below.
