Microsoft adds Foursquare integration to Bing sidebar

Microsoft has revealed yet another new feature to its Bing search service. Bing now features integration with Foursquare to give users tips and recommendations from Foursquare on the right hand side of the Bing screen.

How it works is pretty simple. Search for something on Bing and you will see public tips from Foursquare users in the “People Who Know” section of the Bing sidebar. This is a great way to read reviews from people who are knowledgeable about the place you are searching within your area, based on what they have publicly shared on Foursquare. This new integration is being rolled out in phases, with the first phase of rollout starting today in the United States. Head over to Bing.com to check it out.
