The latest major update for Fortnite has now rolled out to all supported platforms, including Microsoft’s Xbox consoles and Windows PCs, and the Chapter 3 Season 3 content should be live any minute now as soon as servers go back online.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 picks up where the previous season left off with the IO organization invading the flipside of the Battle Royale island and the island residents and members of The Seven building up a resistance to push them back.
Of note in the Season 2 Battle Pass is Marvel’s Doctor Strange and Prowler, a bit of a surprise given that the Season 1 included Peter Parker’s Spider-Man. Prowler is a major villain for Miles Morales’ Spider-Man so it wouldn’t be a stretch to expect that character to also come to Fortnite in the near future.
There also seems to be at least two members of The Seven, The Imagined and The Origin, who are finally making their debut in the game and will likely add a lot of new information to Fortnite’s lore.
In other Fortnite news, Epic Games and Microsoft announced just a few moments ago that all Fortnite-related revenue generated from today until April 3rd will go towards helping Ukraine. All the details on this initiative can be read here.
