The free-to-play action roleplaying game, Marvel Heroes, has been confirmed for a release on the Xbox One console after a successful two years on PC. The Xbox One console version will be called Marvel Heroes Omega and will be almost identical to the PC version but will launch with less content (only 38 playable characters) when it arrives in the spring. It’s expected that much of PC content will be added in time however players on different versions will not be able to play with or against each other.

Marvel Heroes is online focused and allows for gamers to play as a variety of Marvel Comics characters from franchises such as The Avengers, X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-man, and more. Characters can be levelled up and there are several chapters of playable story content to enjoy.

No specific release date has been announced as of yet however an Xbox One closed beta is planned before the official public launch.
