The online action roleplaying game, Marvel Heroes Omega, will be launching on Xbox One on June 30th instead of today as was originally planned. No reason has been given for the delay however it’s likely that more testing had needed to be done in regards to online connectivity and game stability given that this will be the game’s first time being publically available on console after several years of popularity on PC.
Marvel Heroes Omega has been in open beta on Sony’s PlayStation console for a few months now and that version of the game will transition out of beta on the same day as the Xbox One launch. There had been no beta testing period for the Xbox One console.
Marvel Heroes Omega boasts a massive roster of Marvel Comics characters from almost every franchise from The Avengers and The Defenders to the X-Men and Fantastic Four. The title is free to play however some additional content does need to be purchased.
