Major Nelson shares some top tips for Xbox One

So you’ve got your Xbox One. You’ve played all of the games you bought, explored the downloadable content, set up media streaming and played around with all of the settings you can find. But do you know everything about your new console yet? Major Nelson has posted a video in which he reveals a number of tips to help you to get the most from your Xbox One experience.

He shows a few of the uses for the context-sensitive menu button found on the controller, illustrating how it can be used to pin tiles, make parties invite-only, re-order file downloads and much more.

The voice activation controls are also highlighted, as Major Nelson demonstrates how to launch games and apps, and how to navigate around them. There are lots of hidden voice commands to learn, and the video shows you how to access these in every app and game you have installed.

Larry is particularly proud of the recording feature which can be used not only store your gaming achievements for posterity, but also to embarrass your opponents as you play and replay their defeat!
