Latest update to Xbox app for Windows 10 provides updated Xbox Live friends options, and more

If you haven’t noticed already, the Xbox app for Windows 10 received a new update for March, giving it a bunch of new content. As part as Microsoft’s monthly commitment to bring new improvements to the Xbox app, there are a number of new features included in the March 2015 content update.

Microsoft has made it even easier to connect with your friends on Xbox Live and Windows 10. Now you can view the game clips you created on Xbox One and download them directly to your PC from Xbox Live. Additionally, you can now like or comment on posts made by your Xbox Live friends in the activity feed. Your Xbox Live user profile header will be collapsed by default to allow you to see more of your Xbox Live profile information. Another added bonus with this latest update is the ability to search for friends by gamertag, their real name (if they choose to share it with you), or by game title (to see if any of your friends are playing a particular game).

Other improvements to the Xbox app on Windows 10 include improved windows sizing, OneGuide, Universal Remote Control improvements, and the ability to connect/control your Xbox One from the Xbox app for Windows 10. Another big improvement is the ability to see what Xbox Live games you’ve played over other devices like Windows Phone, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

Major Nelson of Xbox has released a short video walk-through of all the new content, check out the video below.
