A new update is now available for Windows 8 and Windows RT users for Microsoft’s Mail, Calendar, People, and Messaging apps. Aside from general performance improvements in all four apps, Microsoft has also added some new features to the Mail app.

Microsoft has improved the Mail app in Windows 8 to allow better organization of the inbox by grouping email messages by conversation. Microsoft has also made it easier for users to respond to meeting invitations directly from the inbox. All four apps are also faster than before thanks to performance improvements. Microsoft seems to be basing these updates on feedback provided by users as the company mentioned users can experience better reliability and usability in these apps “based on feedback from customers like you.” Head over to the Windows Store to install these updates if you have these apps already installed.
