Lumia Cyan rolling out for the Lumia 920 in Canada, India apparently on the list too

Lumia 920 is one of the best Windows Phone handsets launched to date. If you’re based in Canada and are still rocking the good old Lumia 920, there’s a piece of good news for you. Nokia Canada announced via Twitter that the Windows Phone 8.1 update is rolling out for Lumia 920 in the region. Lumia 1020 and 625 already got the taste of the Lumia Cyan update in the region, making Lumia 920 to be the third handset to receive it in the country.

The update is not yet posted on the official Nokia Software Update page, but since the news came directly from the company, we should see it on the company’s tracking page soon.  Furthermore, several reports suggests the update is also rolling out for Lumia 920 in India, but there’s no official confirmation as of yet.

Windows Phone 8.1 comes with plethora of new features for the devices, such as Action Center, Live Tiles customization, Lock screen customizations, improved Internet Explorer, and much more. Cortana is not yet available, but it should make its way to the region soon.

The update process is gradual so it may take a little time for the update to land on the devices. If you’re impatient, you can manually check the update from Settings. As a reminder, make sure you downgrade to Windows Phone 8 using the Nokia Recovery Tool if you’re on the developer preview.

If you already received the update, let us know using the comments below.
