Update: Nokia Canada has pulled the tweet. Looks like this update isn’t rolling out just yet and Nokia Canada simply jumped the gun this time.

Time to rejoice for all you Lumia 1020 owners residing on Canadian shores. The Lumia Cyan update is rolling out in the region. The handset tied to both Rogers and Telus is receiving the update as we speak, and brings all the goodies, and plethora of new features introduced with the Windows Phone 8.1 update.

The Nokia Software Update page still lists the update as “Under Testing” but rest assured that it’s going to reach you in the coming days. The Lumia Cyan update brings a number of new features, including Action Center which displays your day-to-day notifications, imaging improvements with a simplified camera UI and editing capabilities within the camera roll, Internet Explorer improvements, and much more. You can check out the complete list of features introduced in the Lumia Cyan update here.

In a follow up tweet, Nokia Canada also confirmed that the update for the Lumia 920 is under testing and will roll out as soon as it is ready. In the meantime, if you’re rocking the Nokia Lumia 1020, keep checking for the update. If you already received the update, let us know in the comments below, along with the carrier you’re tied to.
