Lumia 620

The next device to be a part of the Lumia Cyan club is the budget-friendly Nokia Lumia 620. Reports suggest that Lumia 620 is getting the Cyan update in the UK, however, it’s not for the country variant of the device. Lumia 620 tied to O2 is currently getting the update, even the Nokia Software Update page was updated with the change as well.

We checked other regions as well to see if the Cyan update is rolling out for the handset, but it’s not. The update is listed as “Under Testing” for other regions, but on the bright side, it seems the update is ready for the device. It shouldn’t take too much time for the country variant of the device to get the update.

Lumia Cyan update brings a host of improvements and new features to the handset, including the personal assistant Cortana which is set to hit the UK in beta form with the Update 1, Action Center, customizable lock screens, refined pre-installed apps such as Nokia Camera, Creative Studio, and Storyteller, and more.

Not too long ago, Windows Phone India revealed the update would land on the Lumia 620 by the end of September, at least in India, but the timeframe should be similar for other regions as well. We’ll update you as soon as the update rolls out for any other region. In the meantime, check for the update on your device.
