Lumia Cinemagraph Beta for Windows Phone now available and your feedback is needed

Yesterday we learned that Lumia Cinemagraph, for those who use the app, will receive the ability to share cinemagraphs directly to social networks like Facebook, as well as offer you the ability to save them on OneDrive. This improvement arrives in January of 2015 but you can download the beta version of the app now and test these features.

“Lumia Cinemagraph is a magical blend of photo and movie-like animation, creating pictures that seem almost alive. Take a photo, landscape or portrait, and helpful on-screen assistance lets you easily select the animated area of your picture to create your very own cinemagraph. The end result is enchanting,” the app description reads.

You can download the Lumia Cinemagraph Beta app which introduces these new features. You can read the description of features below and hit the download link to snag the free app. Don’t forget to leave your feedback on the Beta app!

Lumia Cinemagraph Beta introduces a simplified way of social media sharing. Now cinemagraphs are shared directly as repeating video clips through the normal sharing steps. As a result, there’s no longer need for a separate upload step or user account and all the normal sharing destinations supported by Windows Phone are available.

The newly shared cinemagraphs will be available in the Shared Cinemagraphs folder on your device. Note that there’s no longer a Shared view for online cinemagraphs in the application. If you need to access your previously shared cinemgraphs on our server, please use the Lumia Cinemagraph (non-beta) application still available in the Store for that.

Please note that Lumia Cinemagraph Beta is only available in English
