Lumia Camera Beta app for Windows Phone gets update, adds Office Lens support

Microsoft recently launched the Lumia Camera Beta app on select Lumia Phones running Windows Phone 8.1. Today, the Lumia Camera Beta app got an update adding Office Lens app support. Office Lens is a Windows app that lets users save photos and videos of whiteboards and documents to OneNote. For those that use the Lumia Camera Beta app, this will be a big jump for business users that use OneNote and can integrate the use of the Office Lens app.

In addition to the Office Lens app integration to the Lumia Camera Beta app, today’s update adds a number of other minor performance improvements and bug fixes. Lumia Camera Beta also remembers your Pro settings after restarting the app so you don’t have to worry about whether your favorite settings are saved anytime you open the app on your Windows Phone.

Lumia Camera Beta is only available on a select number of Lumia phones, including:

  • Lumia 640
  • Lumia 640 XL
  • Lumia Icon
  • Lumia 930
  • Lumia 1520

So if you are one of these lucky Lumia owners, download Lumia Camera Beta from the Windows Phone Store today.
