Lumia 640 will apparently be one of the first devices to receive windows 10

\

According to a video featuring Ossi Korpela, General Manager of Microsoft’s Scandinavian division, the Lumia 640 will be one of the first devices to receive Windows 10 for phones upon release.

\

But wait, I thought all Windows Phone devices were receiving Windows 10? Yes, you are right, Microsoft did mention that all Windows Phone devices would be able to upgrade to Windows 10, however, they also mentioned that not all features would be available on all devices due to different hardware requirements.

\

Having someone from Microsoft go on record to confirm if a particular phone will indeed be upgradable to Windows 10 is definitely something that is welcomed, especially owners of particular phones. This is definitely great news for owners of the Lumia 640, and we’re sure the Lumia 640XL would also be on the same boat when it comes to upgrading to the newer operating system.

\

Do you own a Lumia 640? Are you looking forward to Windows 10? Let us know in the comments below. You can also watch the video embedded below, featuring Ossi Korpela.
