LinkedIn and 6tag apps for Windows Phone 8 get updated, comes with bug fixes

While Windows Phone 8 users now have an official Instagram app, we still have the 6tag app that helped fill the void. Those who are dedicated to the 6tag app and continue to use it will enjoy a new update that rolled out today.

“6tag is the most full featured Instagram app for Windows Phone. Upload picture and videos on Instagram, apply filters, tag your friends, view posts on a map, and more,” the app description reads. Thusfar, the app has received nearly 42,000 reviews with the majority of them being nearly five stars.

In this latest update, which bumps the version number to 2.2.4.0, simply brings along bug fixes and security improvements. No change log is listed on the Windows Phone Store.

Not to be outdone, the LinkedIn app for Windows Phone 8 also received an update. This new update bumps the version number to 1.6.0.0.

“Opportunity is always within reach with LinkedIn for Windows Phone. Get on-the-go access to your professional network. Find and connect with more than 259 million members worldwide, read the latest industry news, keep up-to-date with your groups, explore jobs you might be interested in, and share content with your network from anywhere,” the app description reads.

With this new update, you can now add and edit your profile picture, grow your network from people in your address book, and easily see who has viewed your profile and join groups.

You can force the updates by hitting the download links below.

Thanks to everyone for sending this in.
