For those that missed it, Microsoft revealed the Surface Pro, powered by Windows 8 Pro, which is set for release on the 9th of February. However, you wont get any Touch or Type cover with it. In fact, if you want to purchase a Limited Edition Touch Cover or a Limited Edition Wedge Touch Mouse, it’s not going to be cheap.

The starting price point for the Surface Pro will be a hefty $899, but it wont come with a touch keyboard. Microsoft has introduced a limited edition set of Touch keyboards, as well as a Wedge Touch mouse. The limited edition artist covers feature laser-etched designs from three artists and runs for $129, while the Wedge Touch Mouse runs for $70. No idea on exactly whats different with the Wedge Touch Mouse for Surface compared to the original Wedge Touch Mouse, but the accessory is still “coming soon.”
