Like to dark mode all the things? Check out this third-party theme for Microsoft Edge

Dark Mode is one of the best experiences for many people in Windows, Android, and other operating systems as it helps reduce eye strain. However, the experience in Microsoft Edge isn’t the greatest. One developer, though, has come up with a new third-party theme for the Microsoft Browser which will help you truly turn off the lights and save your eyes during those late-night web-browsing sessions.

One of the first themes for Microsoft Edge created outside of the official themes that Microsoft has already released, this one goes by the name of “Complete Black Theme for Microsoft Edge.” You can download it for free by clicking here. As the name suggests, the third party theme adds a solid black background to the title bar as well as the frame content inside of the web browser, as we show in our featured image above.

This theme is the work of the developer Stefan Van Damme. He also has another theme for Edge titled “Dark Theme for Microsoft Edge.” Check out the themes now and let us know what you think. Does it help improve Edge’s dark mode for you? Does it work better when you’re browsing at night? Let us know in the comments.

This article is meant to clarify our original post last month. Complete Black Theme for Microsoft Edge is a theme and not an extension. We apologize for the error.
