Whatever your new year’s resolution is, your Lumia smartphone can help you achieve them with their exclusive line of apps. With the start of the New Year, many people set new goals to motivate themselves for new changes in their lives. Some hope to lose weight, learn a new language, or find a new job. There are plenty apps available for your Lumia smartphone to help make sure you stay on track to achieve your goals in the New Year.

Apps like OneNote and Smart Goals can help you prioritize your goals to see which one is a priority. So if you are looking to lose weight, you can auto publish before and after photos with audio to Facebook and Twitter with OneNote, and everyone can see your progress through Smart Goals. If you planned to travel more and stay in touch with friends and family, Skype and HERE Maps can help you do both. You can arrange a Skype video call to show your parents what new monument or national park that you discovered. If you need help finding directions for your cross-country trip, HERE Maps can lead you in the right direction.

Livescape is another great app to help keep track of your calorie intake and provide you with some nutritional factoids to help you stay on track with your New Year’s diet. You can scan food labels or enter them manually and Livescape with monitor your daily calorie intakes to make sure you stay on course for a leaner, healthier you. Livescape offers a 14-day trial period (try before you buy), otherwise, Livescape is $4.99 in the Windows Phone Store.

For many of us, the New Year could signify the need for a new job. While it may be tough to find the perfect job at the moment with the fluctuating economy and uncertain job market, you will not find the job of your dreams by just wishing for it to happen, you have to make it happen. JobLens is an app powered by HERE Maps to show you nearby job openings within miles of you. You can hold up your Lumia camera to show the job locations within walking distance from you. JobLens searches through several job databases, including LinkedIn to find you the job of your dreams.

You can sync the information from your LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter to find job openings available through your LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter contacts and you can get customized results based on your skills and talents. JobLens also helps you create and store your resume in your OneDrive account, as well as give you driving, transit or walking directions to the job interview. JobLens takes care of everything, so all you have to worry about is doing your best at the interview. Whatever your resolution may be, Lumia can help you every step of the way to make sure that you achieve all you hope to in 2015.
