A LEGO Star Wars glitch lets players create an army of characters – onmsft.com

The LEGO Star Wars: the Skywalker Saga video game has only been out for a week or so and players have already discovered a glitch that can alter the gameplay experience quite a bit.

The glitch, which has been confirmed to work on Xbox One and Xbox Series X console families in addition to Windows devices, essentially allows players to expand their group of playable characters beyond the default limit.

As usual, only one of the characters can be controlled by a player at once but all of the additional characters will still follow the player around as they progress through the level.

Some players on Twitter have claimed to have used this glitch to get up to 30 characters on screen at once though there is a risk of the game crashing as more characters are added so it’s worth saving your progress before attempting.

To activate this LEGO Star Wars: the Skywalker Saga glitch, nicknamed the Mandalorian Glitch for reasons which will become apparent, you need to make both of your characters Din Djarin (aka the Mandalorian) and then switch one of them with a character in your backup roster. Repeat until you have as many character as you want or your game crashes.

Here’s a YouTube how-to video of the glitch in action:

LEGO Star Wars: the Skywalker Saga was delayed several times but finally came out on Xbox, Windows, and other platforms earlier this month. It’s been generally well received with many players and critics claiming that it’s the best LEGO Star Wars game in the entire franchise.

Some players have decided to make an army of Reys

Also… the Mandalorian glitch. PLEASE. NEVER. FIX IT. Please let that be a feature! pic.twitter.com/ifDHPsnuic

Another great use of the glitch has been to make a grand clone army
