Learn US Geography and Angry Gran Run are two Windows 8.1 apps worth checking out

Looking to check out some new apps for Windows 8.1 or Windows RT? Check out Learn US Geography and Angry Gran Run. Both apps are available for download.

Learn US Geography is a paid app that runs for $1.49 and features a simply interface that quizzes you on your geography. Did you pay attention in Geography class or did you forget where Utah is? This app will help you keep abreast of where each state is located. A great app for kids.

“Learn facts about the geography and history of the United States with a colorful interactive map and many learning activities. You will be able to learn the names of the 50 states, the names of their capital cities, in which state each U.S. President was born, the order that the states were added to the Union and the motto of each state and more,” the app description reads.

Not to be outdone, Angry Gran Run for Windows 8.1 offers the popular game via box10.com, all neatly wrapped into a modern app. “Our Granny has been locked away in the Angry Asylum by Fred the agent in white, she’s plotting her escape, and she needs YOU to guide her through the streets once she’s busted out!” the app description reads.

Hit the download links below to snag both apps.

Thanks for the tip, Steveo!
