Back in October, we shared with our readers the press render of the alleged Lumia 650, codenamed “Sanaa”. The company is aiming to target the mid-range market, and offer something similar to the Lumia 640. There’s no word about what the handset will come with, but today, another press render of the alleged Lumia 650 has shown up on Baidu (via NPU), this time in white instead of black. The handset, if legit, will join the list of Windows 10 devices, including the Lumia 950, Lumia 950 XL and the Lumia 550.
The image above is quite similar to what our source revealed, a device featuring on-screen navigation buttons and Windows 10 Mobile on board. The Baidu post further reveals the alleged device will be equipped with a 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels. Rumors further suggest that it will come with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and will ship with Windows 10 Mobile as its operating system, and you can note the dual SIM capabilities shown in the render.
The information about rest of the specifications are scarce at the moment, but we’re not expecting anything extraordinary when it comes to the internals. It’s going to be yet another budget-friendly offering from the Redmond-based company.
There’s no word about the launch of the handset, but there’s a possibility that Microsoft may unveil it in the next few weeks. We’ll update you if we get to hear anything more about the purported Lumia 650, stay tuned.
