Microsoft has introduced a new Azure mobile app allowing users to access and monitor their Azure resources on the go. The app allows you to keep an eye on your most important resources and quickly take actions to manage those resources.
The Microsoft Azure app, available for iOS and Android, keeps you up to date with any Service Health issues and the notifications tab will show you the latest updates as well as the history of events. It comes with Cloud Shell integration and you can execute commands and use your saved scripts to control your Azure environment anywhere. You can also execute quick actions on your Azure resources like restarting virtual machines or web apps. The Azure mobile app allows you to choose your preferred CLI experience between Bash and PowerShell.
The Azure mobile app leverages your device’s Fingerprint, Touch ID or Face ID features to add an extra security layer.
Microsoft has stated that the company will continue improving the app and aims to bring the full power of Azure to your fingertips. The Microsoft Azure mobile app is a must-have for all Azure pros to manage their Azure resources and take corrective actions on the go and after-work hours.
