It’s Super Bowl weekend and guess which team Bing is backing?

\

This is the big weekend. Snacks and adult beverages have been purchased, and now it’s time to relax, eat, drink and enjoy the spectacle that is the Super Bowl. This year the game pits the Denver Broncos against the Seattle Seahawks — the old guard (Peyton Manning) versus and the young gun (Russell Wilson).

\

Microsoft, conveniently located in the vicinity of Seattle, has chosen sides. Guess which team the company is backing? The software giant has already used Bing to analyze the data from all of the searches conducted in the run-up to the game, now it’s going a bit further.

\

Today, Bing releases a video titled “How Seattle Seahawks Fans Impact the Game”. The Seattle stadium has a reputation for being one of the loudest in the NFL, a thoroughly inhospitable environment for visiting teams.

\

“To celebrate all die-hard football fans — no matter who you root for — we created a video highlighting some of the most striking Seahawk fan stats throughout the season”, claims the Bing team.

\

However, a tribute to the Seahawks wasn’t all that was intended with this announcement. The company also took a moment to point out that Bing can be useful in other ways, directing people to visit bing.com/football. You can watch the video below.
